Official Council Rock South Link

On Thursday, February 8th, 2007, the Council Rock High School South, in conjunction with Top Rope Productions, will be featuring the "Rumble at the Rock" to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand and Turf the Rocks.  The event will be held at Council Rock High School South.

This star-studded event will feature WWF Hall of Famer and Legend, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, WWE Legend King Kong Bundy, as well as Three Time WWF Tag Team Champion, Afa the Wild Samoan.  In addition to many other wrestling personalities, the Main Event will be contested for the WXW World Heavyweight Championship as former WWF Tag Team Champion and Superstar, The Great Samu, defends the title against Council Rock's Own, Zero Gravity-Nick Indeglio!

Earlier in November, the Uso's Foundation, Afa's non-profit youth charity organization, visited South and together raised $1000 for their cause.  Afa, Lynn, and three members of Uso's and WXW presented to a jam packed auditorium of 1200 students.  Their message was simple, yet powerful: You can achieve your dreams if you work hard enough and you have a responsibility to give back to your community.

The Rumble at the Rock will strive to do just that.  Rick Moore, the event coordinator and Council Rock sponsor/teacher anticipates a full sell-out, with standing room only seats being offered to expand the 3000 seat capacity.  Ticket sales will begin after the holiday break.

To prepare for an event like this will be no easy task for Zero Gravity.  He's been out of action for over 4 years and physically decimated by inactivity.  In an interview conducted last week, Indeglio told us that he's been in training for the past four weeks, conducting two-a-day workouts to prepare for his first ever title shot.  He quotes, "This will be my first and only shot at the title.  It's a shot I never got in my prime.  I recognize that I am not the same performer I was six years ago, but a lot of people are going to be surprised.  Most wrestlers refuse to accept the 'present,' instead trying to live in the past.  That's not me.  I'm going to 'evolve.'  I consider this to be my retirement tour and I am going to take full advantage of this one singular opportunity.  Consider this a promise: you'll see Zero Gravity like never before."  Zero Gravity re-entered the squared circle and WXW in December and has compiled an impressive 5-0 record in preparation for the match.

You can see Zero Gravity, Samu, and all the WXW Superstars on the Road to the Rock Tour taking place on December 16, January 6, and January 27 at the Moutainville Memorial Hall in Allentown , PA.   Visit www.wxwwrestling.com for directions
