In November of 2005, a CRSD task force was formed to investigate the feasibility of private funding to install artificial playing areas at both CR High Schools.

The primary impetus to this investigation was “washed-out” fields and sub-standard playing areas due to overuse and weather-related incidents that occurred during the fall of 2005.

In August of 2006 the CRSD Board of Directors approved the Turf-The-Rocks Fund Raising Campaign.

The TTR team is currently formulating our marketing and donation plans for the 2006-2007 years.  We are seeking volunteers interested in our project as well as general donations and sponsorships.
